Exercises To Lose Weight At Home


This article is written for those of you who wants to lose weight, but yet do not have the time to go to the gym to do so.

What you will find in this article are simple exercises to lose weight at home. In fact, these exercises can also be carried out in your office cubicle during your lunch break.
Step #1: Simple Stretching Exercises

It is extremely important that, prior to engaging yourself to any workout activities, you do a bit of warm up stretching exercises so as to prevent any unwanted injuries.

And here are 2 simple stretching exercises you can perform:

i. Touching The Floor – Get seated on a kitchen chair/stool for this stretching exercise, with your feet on the floor in a wide and stable position.

Now, put your hands high up (with your palms facing each other) and slowly lunge forward and touch the floor in front of you.

After your hands have touched the floor, remain in that position for about 5 seconds before coming back to the initial position (where your hands are held high up, with your palms facing each other), and repeat the steps 10 times.

ii. Stretching Your Sides – Put your hands up, palms facing each other and fingers (of both hands) locked together. Next, bend slightly to one side, stay there for about 3 seconds and then come back the center, bend slightly to the other side and come back to the center again.

Now, repeat this sequence for 10 times.
Step #2 – Simple Muscle Toning Exercises

Next, you’ll find 2 simple exercises you can perform, where you need only a kitchen chair, that does an effective job in helping you lose weight, as well as build some muscles.

While the above exercises to lose weight at home that we’ve just shared with you may look simple, but when done every single day (we recommend that you follow through the exercises about 2-3 times a day) it can go a long way toward helping you shed off those excess fats from your body.

But having said that, it does not mean that you have the “license” to continue your binge eating habits. You need to, on top of performing these exercises, stop eating those healthy foods (such as oily, sweet, as well as deep fried foods and snacks) and replace them with healthy alternatives.
